An Australian designed product that was specifically made to help you get longer out of your extensions. But let's back it up and look at how and why they work.
Lash extensions are applied using a specialised glue that attaches the extension to the natural lash. Ethyl cyanoacrylate, the main ingredient in lash glue, polymerises instantly with the small amount of moisture present in air and causes a bond between two materials ie your natural lash and the extension. While we need a small amount of moisture for this bond to occur, too much exposure to water over time actually degrades the stability of this bond causing it to become weaker and eventually break. By limiting the exposure to moisture we are able to extend the life of this bond and therefore your lash extensions.
While it's still super important to wash your extensions to remove things like the build up of natural oils and dead skin cells as well as make up, by limiting the exposure of your extensions to excess water in the shower you'll be able to almost double their life span. Who doesn't love that!
